The Continental Hotel was one of the first hotels in Atlantic Beach and had 250 guest rooms, dance pavilion, fishing pier, and tennis courts which made Atlantic Beach a great vacation destination. It was Henry Flagler's forethought that turned Atlantic Beach into what it is today. Atlantic Beach with its miles of pristine beach and a plethora of dining, shopping, and drinking establishments make Atlantic Beach a popular destination stop still today.

Within a hop, skip, and a jump to downtown Jacksonville you can visit Everbank Field, home of our beloved Jacksonville Jaguars, museums and an abundance of shopping. The only drawback to Atlantic Beach is parking is at a premium, especially if there is an event for the city. Once you live in Atlantic Beach you won't want to live anywhere else. Read Less
