A Great Place to Retire To or Raise a Family User Rating 3 rating By Anonymous ( May 23, 2018) My hometown of Athens, Tennessee is a great place to live. I have been living in Athens, Tennessee for more 10 years and I am so glad that I get to call this place home. The people here are incredibly friendly and you can easily get a helping hand whenever you need one.

The lo ...Read More cal community is growing, but we still think that the local area has a small-town vibe. This place is in a great location, as you can easily plan day trips to Nashville, Tennessee or Asheville, North Carolina if you want a chance of scenery. The setting here is absolutely beautiful. In addition, the local school district has great schools with high ratings from the state.

The best areas in Athens, Tennessee are the historic areas that you can find. In addition, there are multiple parks for children to play at. This is overall just a great little community. If you are looking to retire or for a place to raise your family, then consider Athens. Read Less
