It is an alright town User Rating 3.5 rating By Vincentv03 ( Mar 09, 2016) It has good basic jobs. It has nice people and community. Very good shopping, decent educational opportunities all around, and great access to health and spiritual resources. It does not have a good crime rate, higher education( like grad school), night life is okay, and there is ...Read More some weather issues the last few years for a moderate climate. Annapolis, MD - Crabtown By The Bay User Rating 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 24, 2010) Annapolis, MD is home to the United States Naval Academy. While my four years at that institution weren't all fun and games, the charming host city of Annapolis made it a lot better. Lined with shopping, bars and restaurants, downtown Annapolis is right on the water. I spent many ...Read More sunny Saturdays watching the sailing boats while enjoying an ice cream cone from the Annapolis Ice Cream Company. At night, several of the restaurants come alive as bars. Some local favorites include Pussers right on the Severn River and the Federal House outside the gates of the Academy.

Driving in Annapolis can be frustrating, because the city predates modern transportation, but the narrow streets and one-ways are mostly limited to downtown. During high traffic events, such as Commissioning Week or the annual Boat Show parking can get tough, but there are shuttles and public transit options available. These events are a lot of fun, and I highly recommend a visit to the Academy.

Annapolis is a beautiful city that is great to visit and wonderful to live in. Read Less
