A visit to the plantation provides so much for those who want to learn more of their history and is exciting from the moment that you walk into the door. Tours are available each day, with admission $16 for adults; $14 for seniors; $8 for youth and free for children 5 years of age and younger. A family rate of $45 is also available.

Located at 116 Fifth Avenue North, it is a place where many stars have performed. This historical landmark was established in 1892. Many events have been held here and many more will be held here in the future. They have Opry nights and Bluegrass nights as special events that take place here. The Ryman features events for children as well as adults. Tours are available daily. Ticket prices for the shows will be determined by the performances that are taking place and how famous the star of the show is. Many seats are available on the two levels. Tickets can be purchased online as well as at the box office before the event. Some shows will sell out before the day the event is scheduled to take place.

Spanning nine acres the gardens include actual rivers, waterfalls and a lake along with wide varieties of flowers, plants and trees. Many varieties of tropical plants are featured in the gardens as are many varieties of orchids. There are fountains that spray water in the air, lots of swimming fish and majestic rock formations. This truly amazing attraction even offers boat rides on the rivers. Located close to downtown Nashville the Opryland Hotel Gardens feature several on-site restaurants and retail shops and admission to the gardens is free. At night a free laser/fountain show is also offered.

Since the middle of the 1920s, the Grand Ole Opry has been a mecca for country and bluegrass artists as well as a venue for would-be performers seeking to be discovered. More commonly associated with its former 1943 location, the Ryman Auditorium, its stage has been graced by artists ranging from Loretta Lynn, Roy Acuff and Patsy Cline to bluegrass performers Carrie Underwood and Pam Tillis. During a backstage tour of the Grand Ole Opry, guests are regaled with interesting trivia such as the fact that country artist, Alan Jackson once served as a mail-room clerk. One highlight of the tour is the opportunity to step into the spotlight on the wooden performers circle which was part of the old Ryman Auditorium stage.

It is located outside of Nashville, Tennessee. The home and adjoining farm is operated by the Ladies Hermitage Association and has control over the entire original 1,050 acres that made up Andrew Jackson's plantation and estate. Today visitors go to see The Hermitage to get a glimpse into the life of one on America's most famous presidents and his family while they lived there. The Hermitage contains a majority of the home's original personal artifacts and furniture. Jackson's personal collection of artwork and books remain there for visitors to see. Over 100,000 visitors come to the home of the 7th President of the United States every single year. Admission is $19 for adults and $9 for children ages 6 to 12. Children under the age of five are free.

The museum is opened daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission tickets are available for purchase at the Admission Box Office, but you will want to experience the complete Nashville experience with a Gold or Platinum package. Adult costs for the Gold package is $22, youth $15. Platinum costs for Adults is $33, youth $24.
