Glenpool Oklahoma: City of Black Gold 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) I experienced an outstanding juncture while living in Glenpool Oklahoma. The city is located in Tulsa County. Glenpool is about 20 minutes from Tulsa Oklahoma. The town has great school academics. Glenpool High School has won football state championships in 2002 and in 2008. The ...Read More housing market is marginal, but employment is stable. Living expenses in Glenpool are moderate and the weather is pleasant.

Some of the best areas in Glenpool Oklahoma surround Black Gold Park. The area is nicely done and pays tribute to the town’s history. The Black Gold Monument holds a place there. The town was known for oil resources. The oil fields are now controlled by Gulf Oil Company, Texaco, and Prairie Oil and Gas. Historically the field has produced over 300 million barrels of oil. The neighborhoods in town are peaceful and quiet. The population Glenpool in is on an upsurge, so the local economy is beginning the thrive. It is a great place to live and settle in. Read Less
