Not a great school or really horrible school, more like a below average school

So I am currently a sophomore at this school, based on my experience of attending this school in 9 grade (2019-2020) I have to say that there are a mix of bad and good teachers. I've had some bad teachers most notably and infamously Mr. Wilkes, he is currently an art teacher who doesnt get any respect at all and is very bad at teaching, great at drawing, painting but bad at teaching students how to do it. Beware if you get him you will end up getting an F as most of my peers did although i managed to get a C but to get that grade you'll have to work hard to get it by repeatedly asking him to grade your work and listen to you. Alright enough with that horrible teacher and onto the next! Okay now school spirit at AB Miller is not common at all, most kids ditch the pep rallies and when they go to football games they choose to smoke weed and get high. I am among the smarter students with myself taking several AP classes which many of the teachers being great and involved in the students academic life as well as personal. Especially with the AVID teachers, I've had 3 and so far all of them were great teachers and helped a lot with school, well-being and enjoyment. I've had one great English teacher who goes by Mrs. Williams, I had her for English honors this year. Overall, AB Miller is an average school, its not the best school as it goes against Summit High which is not as great as it seems having friends who attend the school. AB Miller in my eyes needs more clubs and more school involvement regarding students, most kids are "lame", smoke and dont care about their schooling. Theres a pretty good amount of fights that happen but not a lot compared to the smoking part of the school. A lot of students smoke on the campus and come to class high. You'll find yourself in the restroom and a security guard searching the restroom for some student and then 10 minutes later see that kid come out the stall and hide in another building. The only problem here is the lack of diversity, school spirit/involvement (NEEDS CLUBS BECAUSE IT HAS LIKE ZERO), the smoking weed getting high issue is over the top. Now onto demographics, the statistics are correct and true the school is mainly of hispanics. I am hispanic so i represent the demographic BUT there are hardly any white people and a few black kids who hangout in a large group together ranging from all grades. The school has a great dance program but that is it. AB Miller is mostly known for its past reputation from the 90s- mid 2000s. Because of that many students and parents avoid the school when choosing which highschool to go to. BUT the school is a lot better from what past teachers have told me and siblings of friends have said.
