Bellflower is a pretty quiet city located to the south of the Los Angeles metro area. I have a few friends who live there and have visited Bellflower several times. Real estate prices are fairly low and and the crime rates are pretty average (when compared to the rest of California), making the city a decent place to live for those wanting to live near the Los Angeles area.
There are not a plethora of attractions for travelers visiting Bellflower. Several places to shop may be spotted along the main streets, as well as plenty of popular chain dining venues. My friends and I went to the Hollywood Sports Paintball Park. Supposedly the largest paintball park in the L.A area, it is very large and has plenty of area. Truly a SoCal favorite, visitors should be sure to stop at Norm's to eat. The restaurant reflects a 50s diner style, featuring low-priced delicious food with generous portions.
Overall the city of Bellflower seemed like a quiet and clean place, but it was almost too quiet for me. People who like secluded areas would prefer Bellflower, though. The residential streets are winding and houses are set deep on their properties, with mild traffic flow in the streets.
