Slinger High School is a school community that embodies character. Each student is able to express their own uniqueness, molding them into the adult they become through the four years they spend there. As I graduate this year as a senior, I have been able to experience each part of the school community. The school provides a strong variety of academics ranging from chemistry to engineering. It offers each student the ability to select electives that will shape their future. For me, those classes were AP Psychology, Sociology and AP Chemistry. Students can be seen excelling through our school, although, the numbers are not a unified whole. Good academics come hand in hand with good teachers. The staff and administration at Slinger keeps it a suitable environment for learning and teach the students the curriculum to the best of their ability. As you can see from our numbers, the majority of students pass most AP exams taken. I can honestly say that if a student needed extra help with schoolwork, any teacher would be willing to stay extra time, or use their prep periods to extend help. On a different note, Slinger offers a variety of not only sports, but after school activities to those who are interested. While these include basketball, softball, football, and tennis, they also includes activities such as musicals, Science Olympiad, DECA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and many more. All of these activities help students mold our school community through their personalities and it provides a break from the sometimes stressful life of a teenager. Over all, I believe that Slinger High School is a model high school to others in the region. It may not be a perfect environment, but I believe it is a opportune place to begin the journey for your future.

Slinger High School is a great school located in the outskirts of Milwaukee. It is filled with dedicated teachers, conscientious students, and modern facilities. The teachers and administrators at Slinger High are extremely dedicated to their jobs and driven to help students in every way that they can. They do everything within their power to provide support for students and their families, both academically and otherwise. They make concerted efforts to reduce stress levels of students by not assigning homework over breaks (Thanksgiving, Winter Break, Spring Break, etc.), and by putting test dates into a spreadsheet so there aren't multiple tests on the same day. The student body is supportive of each other and is filled with diverse interests and talents. There are a plethora of clubs and Division 1 sports for students to participate in, and almost all students are involved in the close-knit Slinger community. The school itself has recently been renovated with a new performing arts center, a new music facility, new tech-ed classrooms, a new fitness center, and updated academic classrooms. While Slinger High is by no means perfect, it is definitely an exceptional place to learn and grow.

Slinger is like many other schools. Most of the students blossom into motivated adults. Teachers and staff care about each and every student. A collaborative community is built between the staff and parents. On top of that, the curriculum that is taught gives students the opportunity to grasp it in their own way. Students aren't forced to memorize facts to take a test and forget. Students are given the opportunity to join multiple different sports. This includes football, basketball, and track. Most of them are able to compete at their state competitions. If sports aren't your forte, there are academic clubs that allow you to showcase your intelligence. This includes Academic Decathlon and Science Olympiad. Not only that, Slinger spent several million dollars in a new renovation to their facilities. This allows students to have access to better equipment and space to study their interests. However, I wouldn't go as far as to say that Slinger is a perfect place. Some student's hide their intelligence over their fear of not fitting in. Teachers pick favorites in the student body. Some students with a high grade point average feel the need to cheat to in order to maintain their G.P.A. Even though Slinger isn't perfect, it allows student's to explore their diverse interests to help them realize what direction their future may hold.

Slinger is a very good school. I've gone there my whole life, and I've always felt very safe and comfortable whilst doing so. My teachers have been kind and most were genuinely interested in helping their students progress. As a whole, Slinger is very community oriented. The small town vibe, although a little hindering on some opportunities that could be provided by bigger schools, creates a sense of community. This leads to an open space to share ideas and continue to grow as individuals.

My last four years at Slinger High School will definitely be ones that I remember. This school has made a very big impact to my life as well as the lives of many others. A big reason for this is the staff. All of the teachers at Slinger care very much about each and every one of their students. From succeeding in and out of the classroom. Each teacher will take extra time to help a student with whatever the need. They are eager to teach new material and are able to teach it in a way that makes sense to everyone. This is something special that Slinger is proud to have. Another thing that Slinger is proud to have is our beautiful new facility for preforming arts. This new auditorium brings in people from all over to watch shows and others to preform. This is something that the students are also proud to have. It makes us feel happy knowing that we go to a school that cares so much about extra curricular activities. Along with having a wonderful preforming arts programs, we also have many successful sporting teams. Many of our teams make it very far into conference play and continue to succeed to competing at state. While some teams may not make it, they are still able to go and support all others at their successes to state. My time in participating in the sports here at Slinger have been the greatest of my life. I have made so many great memories while wearing Slinger's name on my back. I always got support from the staff and students during my career as an athlete. The students here have big hearts and are always encouraging others at sporting events, in school, or outside of school. Many students here have great bonds through many things. The friendships made at Slinger are ones that will last forever. Slinger High School is an excellent place for students to find out who they are. Within these walls we are granted with so many opportunities that help us grow into better people. The teachers, classes, staff, sports, and students are great things that Slinger has to offer. The bases of these things is what makes Slinger, Slinger. These are things I will never forget as I carry on my endeavors to college. Slinger will always be home, I will never forget my time at Slinger High School.

Slinger High School may not have the largest student body, but the sense of community and pride is immense. The school very much focuses in on academics and does a great job of preparing us for what's ahead of us. Recently, additions were made to school to improve in many areas of education. Additions were also made to further the performing arts and athletics, allowing us to be known worldwide. Teachers and administration are all friendly and care about each and every student. The school offers countless extracurriculars for everyone to get involved in. Overall, Slinger High School is a great place to be a part of.

Slinger High School offers students great learning opportunities as well as extra curricular activities. As of recent, Slinger School District added several additions including a new track, auditorium, engineering classrooms, etc. to better the academic and athletic opportunity Slinger High School students receive. The students and staff are very respectful and go out of their way to make the Slinger Community a great place to be.

Slinger High School has given me an above average experience. Most of the teachers here go out of their way to help us whether it be with classwork or our personal lives. They do a good job of teaching the important things. Our administration is very involved and kind, especially our athletic director. The students here are a mix of compassionate kids and kids who are only concerned with themselves. Overall though, the school has a positive environment and students get involved.
