Do I have any recourse if no action is taken? Well I purchased a property in Port Saint Lucie FL the real estate agent was a duel agent meaning representing the seller the listing agent and us the buyer since we called her on an add from the beginning we told her we did not want to pay for closing she said not to worry she would take care of it and that she would have it changed since I already had signed the contract via online since we were living in CA and had not been to FL yet ....She had also told us the property was move in ready that everything was perfect ...well I had an inspection done boy did it need work the air conditioner coil was leaking creating mold, 2 broken windows , cracked tiles through out the living and dining room ..faulty disposal and microwave....well after the inspection she quickly had the seller fix the items ...so as we are getting closer to the closing she said she did not recall the closing cost issue I told her well you said it would be taken care of and since you are double ending the deal perhaps you should contribute as you said it would be taken care of ....well she got mad I said I wouldn't close unless it was as we verbally agreed .....then I get a call from her broker wanting to resolve issue and finally he said they would pay 1350 towards the closing costs I told him I could live with that ...we are suppose to close in 7 days and I yet to see the addendum from this broker and no call back and these are the people that are suppose to be representing us ...............suggestions anyone? Port St. Lucie My husband is coming down to help his brother-in-law lay carpet. Afterward, we want to rent a room or small apt with a kitchenette so we can stay a couple of nights. My husband has never, ever, ever seen the ocean, so I would like to find something on or in walking distance to the beach. We both are disabled and are on fixed income so we must find something reasonably priced. Any suggestions on where to look??? Or how to go about this? We have only been married 2 years & 9 months and we are in our early 50's. Sincerely, Mrs. Elder of Dalton, GA Answer question

Port St. Lucie, so how's life ??? Can someone comment on the living there in Port St. Lucie. I'm looking to move and want to move to a place where there are plenty of things to do, lots of amenities, like bars, restaurants ect. I'm a huge fan of baseball (CUBS) and I'm aware of the Mets spring training park located in the area.
Is this a good place to live? Does anything about the area suck, currently I live in a place for the retired, where they start rolling up the streets at 7pm. Also how's the employment ?

walking in the river preserve Just moved here from Santa Fe, NM. Lived in an area where I walk in greenbelts (well brownbelts now with drought from climate change). I am wondering about walking in the river preserve. I live a block from the river up near Prima Vista. I see at the end of my street that there is access to walk into the preserve. It does not look like anyone goes in there. Is it dangerous? Is it full of snakes and alligators etc. You had to watch out for rattlesnakes in New Mexcio, but I don't want to stumble upon something dangerous if I venture through the gate into the river preserve. Thanks!! Answer question

life there I am living in hallandale. I am looking for a place with a much lower densit of people and not urban, but it must be in the lower half of florida because I have seasonal effective (I am affected by the lack of sun in the winter).

I heard that port st lucie is lower in density, and quieter. I am 39 and single. But I don't have a lot of money and I heard it's expensive to live there. what can you get for $800-850. Is that enough? Am I going to get a junk place in a dangerous area for that much? Or a safe place I am paying 1200 now and it is about 350-400 too much.

How are part time job openings?

I am an oil painter so I was wondering if you have natural scenery. Here it is just horrible human distraught. I like nature
Thanks,
Steve
