When I first started at western I was very nervous and scared because that was the furthest I had ever been form home. I didn't know anybody there, so I felt alone. However after the first day I started and I met my classmates, staff, and teachers, I felt confident and strong. They were kind, understanding and very helpful towards me. The teachers were always willing to help me at any time I needed, they were even willing to make time to see me. The staff would go beyond their duties to try to make my student experience comfortable and easy. All students were also very kind and easy to talk and they were always willing to help me if I needed even if they didn't know me.
