Marquette is a Jesuit, all-inclusive university where everybody feels welcome. While enrolled here, you are sure to be challenged academically and pushed out of your comfort zone to promote self-growth. But not to worry, as there are resources such as free tutoring sessions that accommodate to your schedule if you are experiencing difficulties. Student support services are readily available at hand as well. The professors are down to earth and make it easy to establish a student-prof. relationship. They're also extremely accessible as they have office hours multiple days a week. Marquette counts with various sports but we're best known for our basketball team. If sports are not your thing, no worries, we have an abundant amount of student organizations that you can be a part of. Whatever the case may be, you are sure to find your "niche"! Marquette is located in an urban part of town, therefore, making it easy to get around. There several restaurants, convenient stores, and a grocery store right on campus. Downtown Milwaukee is approximately 5 minutes from campus, making it easy for students to explore the city during their downtime. Most importantly, Marquette takes the safety of students very seriously, so much so that we have our personal police department on campus that's always on the lookout. Come be a part of Marquette and take the tools they provide you with to be the difference!
