Excellent Research University

Indiana University Bloomington is not only ranked as one of the most beautiful universities in the nation but it also has amazing programs. IU caters to nearly all interests of study, from business to art, and provides high-quality education for the sciences and the humanities. For instance, the biology department is nationally recognized for world-class teaching and research. The faculty for the department is made up of researchers in various concentrations. Watson and Crick, who helped discover the structure of DNA actually did research at IU. In addition, the Kelley School of Business has been ranked in the top 10 of business schools for the past six years. Finally, another note-worthy quality of IU are its foreign language studies. IU offers over 25 foreign languages, and there are over 20 study abroad programs to choose from. These are only a few of my favorite things about IU, but it is overall an excellent school with excellent professors, administrators, facilities, and all.
