Located in Annapolis, Maryland at 121 Blake Road. Founded in 1845 by George Bancroft the academy has been educating young men and women for over 150 years. In order to visit the academy potential guests must contact the visitor center between 9 a.m and 5 p.m. to schedule a tour. Guests over the age of 16 must also bring a valid I.D. along in order to be allowed entrance. The U.S. Naval Academy is also home to the USNA Museum, which attracts over 100,000 visitors a year, giving guests a history of the U.S. navy from the early days of wooden ships to the current battleships being used today.
