To the few teachers and staff that start their day off in a positive direction, I say,"thank you." This school needs more positive encouragement from it's teachers and staff. I believe we need the determination of a "Joe Clark!" Yes , as in the movie of "Lean On Me". Having a positive attitude starts from the top! Expect greatness from the teachers and they will deliver greatness to the students. THIS DOES NOT HAVE TO BE AN "F" SCHOOL. Forget about the money that you are not making and think about the foundation that you are laying for a child's future. Teachers, stop just reading and start teaching. So what if you have to repeat the lesson, stay until it is absorbed. There are some good teachers but they seemed to be in a box. Take them out of the box as long as they are within the law. There is much need to find places and programs to build character instead of sending an already frustrated kid to ISS. STOP THE YELLING AND PUT ON THE PHRASE. Volunteers are required , so hold them accountable. Parents should be held accountable, not the child. There is hope, think positive, let's do this.
