What are some "off the beaten track" things to do in Atlanta? I know there's lots to do in ATL. I could check out: A Falcons/Thrashers/Hawks/Braves game, The Atlanta Botanical Gardens, The Museum of Natural History, The Georgia Aquarium etc. These are all great things, and I hope I could fit them all in. But I'm wondering if there are any other things that are "off the beaten track" that only locals know about and would recommend visiting?

Try The Tabby (Tabernacle) on Luckie Street also...and if you like wrestling, there is The Masquerade on North Ave.

Java Monkey, Downtown Decatur - spoken word, good eats, music jams. The Decatur Arts District off Sycamore St near the Decatur Marta station. Try Rays on the River on Powers Ferry Rd, though it's probably not as good as it used to be back in the early 90s. The MLK National Historic site and grave of Martin Luther King Jr and Coretta Scott King in Sweet Auburn. Six Flags in Cobb County. Margaret Mitchell House. Cyclorama Stone Mountain Park Center for Puppetry Arts Jimmy Carter Library The Varsity The Herndon Home The Variety Playhouse, et al Lots to do around these parts, especially when you know the "natives."
