So Close To NYC I go There Every Weekend 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 10, 2018) I love living in Ossining, NY. We’re a quaint little village near NYC, NY filled with a ton of friendly faces and fun things to do in and around our area. We’re obviously not super far from the Big Apple so a short train ride down will make for great shopping, eating, and bus ...Read More y days on the weekends. There’s about 25,000 people in our village which means a new face everyday. Everyone you meet in the coffee shops or gyms is super friendly and willing to help if you need it. In our specific area for best attractions we offer some amazing times and places like the Rockefeller Park, Jacob Burns Film Center, the Lake Reservation and a ton more things to do for residents and tourists. My favorite thing is definitely to go into the city on weekends and enjoy the fun things NYC has to offer. However there’s something for everybody in our little village if you don’t want to travel down to NYC. Read Less
