Monrovia: On The Edge Of Angeles National forest 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 14, 2018) Monrovia is a little bit to the northeast of Los Angeles, and a pretty good choice if you work in the city or are relocating to the area. One thing I liked a lot about the city is how mild the winters are. Even around Christmas, you'll very rarely need to bundle up.

For jobs and ...Read More education, you'll have a lot of choose from living in Monrovia. LA is close enough to commute too. If you work right in Monrovia, you might get away with taking the bus if you work along the main part of the city. Otherwise, it'll probably be easier with your own car.

Buying or renting a house can be a bit more expensive in Monrovia compared to other parts of the country, but it's still worth it in my opinion. If you like spending time outdoors, there's plenty to choose from. One of the best areas in Monrovia is probably the Sante Fe Dam Recreation Area. Read Less
