The area in general is considered to be one of the safest in the state. Working in the area is a bit different than most. For those looking to get minimum wage job, it's easy. However, those who are looking for average to high income jobs, they are better off working in cities outside of Malibu and commute to work.

Malibu is also know for the beautiful houses in the area and the beach-front properties. The scenery is phenomenal. The area is a hot spot for the wealthy. Public transportation in the area isn't the best, therefore having a car is best way to travel and enjoy a sense of independence.

There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. Most of these shops are expensive, yet the quality of food and products makes it well worth the price. For activities, many love to go to the beach for a relaxing moment; there are a handful of activities to do here in Malibu. Proximity to the beach and the mountain is perfect and both location host numerous activities. I have loved living in Malibu, it's been the best. Read Less
