Ladera Shopping Center boasts a great ...Read More little strip mall anchored by Ralph's and CVS. There is one of the best Goodwill stores I feel in the nation, with vintage clothing, antique furniture, books of every kind and description, many one-of-a-kind items.
Simply Wholesome is a restaurant that offers vegetarian cuisine and on Sunday afternoons area musicians play everything from Afro-Jazz fusion to Raggae to anything inbetween. Across the street, you have landmark La Louisianne, home of gumbo and everything good wrapped up in a Creole funk that permeates the whole block. There are shops that offer authentic African clothing, artifacts, jewelry and various other items direct from the motherland!
Easy access to anywhere you need to go, and you won't need to go anywhere once you go to Inglewood!

Although not as intense as it once was, the noise is still ...Read More bothersome to many residents, making it a less popular place to live. Neighborhoods in Inglewood are a mix of good and bad. Some areas are still rough, while others are close-knit. I have visited the city numerous times when visiting friends. Inglewood does not boast famous and exciting attractions, but shopping is plentiful and jobs are easier to find than several other places in Los Angeles.

Plenty of night clubs, bars and restaurants are available, making this city popular for young adults. Inglewood has plenty of restaurants to choose from, also. The two I recommend higher than any others are Soul Food Kitchen and Canton Kitchen. Soul Food Kitchen more than lives up to its name, providing some of the best genuine soul food west of the Mississippi. Featuring Chinese cuisine, Canton Kitchen is very small but produces the best Chinese food aside from Chinatown in the Los Angeles area. Read Less
