Burkburnett, TX - BoomTown 4.5 rating By Anonymous ( May 28, 2018) Living in Burkburnett, TX has been a dream come true. I have always wanted to raise my family in a family oriented community; and Burkburnett is definitely family oriented. The city has a small town feeling, but it is a booming economic center. The job opportunities here are grea ...Read More t. Burkburnett's schools system is rated high on the national ranking system.

In the late spring and summer my husband is at the best golf course in Texas, the River Creek Park Golf Course; and the kids and I enjoy a fun time at Boomtown Bay Family Aquatic Center. I really love how the community comes together in June and throughout October for family movie night in the park. Sometimes we get in the car and take a small trek to Lake Arrowhead State Park.

One of the best areas to go to is the Comanche Red River Casino and Kiowa Casino, both are full of night life fun and excitement. My husband and I really enjoy authentic Mexican meals at Carlito's Mexican Restaurant. Sometimes I shop at the local Salvage Chick Boutique or as a special treat I go to Reserve Soap Company for soaps and other beauty needs. Read Less
